Gaborone Declaration to be featured at The African Ministerial Conference on the Environment, March 2-6

The African Ministers Conference on the Environment (AMCEN) is meeting March 2-6 in Cairo, Egypt. The Secretariat for AMCEN is the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The technical segment will be held March 2-4 and the Ministerial segment March 5-6. Representatives from Conservation International will accompany the Botswana delegation as Secretariat of GDSA. The GDSA will be featured during the technical segment, and GDSA country delegations will be in attendance.

Established in 1985, the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN) is a permanent forum where African ministers of the environment discuss topics of relevance to the environment of the continent. For more information on AMCEN, please visit the AMCEN website
